To bring about a change in the assessment patterns in schools and enhance the quality
of India’s educational system, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has
been introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in September 2009.
EQFI has designed a two day training workshop, which is interactive and informative
and is with the objective of equipping teachers with the necessary skills and expertise
to implement CCE in their schools. The CCE workshop modules address classroom transactions,
different types of assessments using Bloom’s Taxonomy for designing questions, understanding
tools and techniques, assessing life skills and co scholastic areas, documentation
and record keeping among others. Teachers are given hands on experience to evaluate
a role play and also understand the value of collaborative and cooperative teaching
through planning and designing Integrated Projects.
Teachers and Principal’s Workshops have been conducted in various parts of India
like Beawar (Ajmer), Tirupati, Baroda, Cochin, Munnar, Guwahati, Shillong, Jaipur,
Delhi and Trivandrum.
Teachers feel these workshops have helped them gain clarity on concepts through
engaging and enriching workshop sessions.
