To bring about a change in the assessment patterns in schools
’Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation’ (CCE) has been introduced
by CBSE, the training of which is being imparted to teachers by EQFI. With the objective
of equipping teachers with the necessary skills and expertise to implement CCE in
their schools, EQFI has designed a two day training workshop.

The description on Tools & Techniques was wonderful. It was a great workshop, systematically
organized. I enjoyed attending it. ".
A recent workshop was conducted in Delhi on 28th &
29th January 2010, which was attended by 42 teachers from leading schools
of Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad & Bangkok. The workshop in addition to reinforcing
the value of CCE, addressed classroom transactions, different types of assessment,
(particularly formative assessment), using Bloom’s Taxonomy for designing questions,
the teaching and assessment of life skills and attitudes documentation and recording,
classroom management, and suggested streaming procedures for subject selection in
class XI.

encouraging teachers to eventually own the concept of CCE. Teachers were given hands
on experience to evaluate a role play working with a given template, and also through
planning designing integrated projects. The sessions on assessing Life skills, Attitudes
and Values, Tools and Techniques and Documenting & Record Keeping were found to
be very helpful and of value by most of the teachers. As Ms.Renu Mongia

kept us all fully engrossed and were very enriching "
Sumita Roy, St. Mary’s School,.Safdarjung Enclave " I gained
clarity on concepts of CCE & felt confident that I can explain the same to other
